Vietnam
Vietnam lingers in my mind like a dream, alive with contrast, rhythm, and tradition. I’m drawn to the elegance of the nón lá, the iconic conical hat that shields street vendors as they weave through chaotic streets and countryside paths. The country hums with life, from the frenetic energy of riverside markets, where voices rise over the scent of fresh herbs, to the stillness of mist-draped mountains that feel almost untouched by time. In the fishing villages, life moves to the ebb and flow of the tides—boats stacked with the day's catch, the salty air thick with the scent of fish, salt, and cigarettes. My photographs are a reflection of this duality, a place where motion and stillness, modernity and tradition, collide and coexist in perfect balance. If there’s one exotic place that feels like home, Vietnam is it!
